Shower and exfoliate before your appointment so your skin is clean, smooth and dry. Remove any previous tan evenly. Avoid applying lotion immediately before the session unless your artist directs you to use it on specific areas. Ask your artist about the best timing for your appointment.

Choose tanning attire you are comfortable with and discuss coverage with your artist. Afterward, wear loose, dark clothing and easy-to-slip-on shoes. Tight clothing and friction can disturb a freshly applied tan.

Follow the rinse time for the exact solution and formula used. One Hour Tan, Rapid Tan and Quick Dry are not interchangeable instructions. Ask your artist which formula was applied. Color may continue developing after the first rinse.
